                 What’s up guys hope you are all doing well. Today I’m going to go over the debut studio album by someone who’s been on my daily rotation for a couple of days now, Baby Keem. I’m sure you guys  know this, but for those who don’t, Baby Keem is Kendrick Lamar’s younger cousin. The only reason I know this is because of the cover art for the amazing single that came out these past couple days, “family ties”. When it came to Baby Keem before, I won’t lie, I was not the biggest fan. His flow was different, and his version of the modern ‘baby voice’ sound in hip hop just didn’t reach me. The only song that I listened to from him was “Orange Soda”, which I think was the most popular song he had out at the time. However, after listening to “family ties”, things changed.      What’s up guys! Welcome to a new review where this week I’ll go over the anticipated Kanye West album, “Donda”. Let’s just get into it.        So this is Kanye West’s tenth studio album and boy was it one to see coming. This album release came after like two-three listening parties scattered over a period of time where each one got weirder and weirder. I think the last one before the release of Donda had both DaBaby and Marilyn Manson just chilling as Kanye bumped his tunes. I don’t know if he’s trying to make a statement of some sort, but after the recent events following both artists, I can only assume so. The album itself is a list of 27 tracks that spanned for a total of an hour and forty-nine minutes. Jesus Christ.                   Hey guys what’s up! It’s been a while since I’ve done another album chat but here we are with a brand new Trippie Redd album. I reviewed the last album Trippie released which was the gigantic, double-stacked album “Pegasus: Neon Shark vs Pegasus Presented by Travis Barker (Deluxe)”. While in theory this sounded like a cool concept, I don’t think it had the effect it could’ve had due to the huge track list of 40 songs that didn’t seem to take Trippie anywhere past his album before that. If anything, this album seemed to be a platform where Trippie was able to experiment with a lot of different sounds and give his take on the rap/rock hybrid genre we see now through artists like City Morgue, Machine Gun Kelly, and of course Travis Barker. Happy August, and what a better way to start this month off than with Logic’s new addition to the Bobby Tarantino mixtapes, Bobby Tarantino III. I don’t know if you all know this by now, but I am/was/idek fan of Logic the rapper. I think he has created a lot of projects that have grown upon the essential parts of what made projects like Kid Cudi’s “Man on the Moon” series stand out. He is, however, coming off as a little lost right now as he’s jumping in and out of retirement to make music or do other things, but when he’s in the zone, the man can do wonders. But this might be good timing because this past weekend was crazy, and while I didn’t see much of it, I did have some thoughts to share.                 I’m sure you all know, but this Rolling Loud this past weekend was the first rap festival post COVID to restart the whole live sector of rap music. With the attendance at max, I assumed that there was going to be something different or special for this festival given a whole year of inactivity.                What’s up guys, hope you are all having a fantastic week. This weekend I saw Pop Smoke’s second post-humous album come out and I’ve heard mixed reviews on it. I’m currently listening to it and the more I listen, the more frustrated I become. The concept of a post-humous album is to pretty much release unreleased music from an artist who has died suddenly. Before, I feel like this was an honest attempt to have a certain artist who meant a lot to fans exit the music industry with a bang through an album dedicated to those who were a part of the journey. An example of this for me would probably be Mac Miller who had family and friends creating a final project to give to those who supported him so much. To me, the album “Circles” was a touching attempt at recreating a Mac album with effort and love.                   What’s up guys. Welcome to a new week where I talk about a project I haven’t listened to before. This week I’m going to be talking about an album that’s been out for a while, but I haven’t had a chance to delve into this particular artist. The artist is Interpol and the album will be their debut album “Turn on the Bright Lights” that came out in 2002. The reason I wanted to listen to them was due to my newfound love for the Strokes. I started getting really into alternative rock, and I remember that one song that I associated to my college years was “Rest My Chemistry”. I remember first listening to it from the speaker of my roommates, and when I asked who this was, he told me “Interpol, they’re fire.” So here I am, and I gotta say that this band is indeed fire.                 The album starts off with a great int...
